Biking, relaxing on the beach, and exploring the town center are just a few of the favorite pastimes of those who call Seacrest home. This community has an upscale casual vibe and features gorgeous sugar-white sand beaches and turquoise water. Residents enjoy spending time on the water, going for walks, and just relaxing on the beach. In addition to the amazing beaches, Seacrest includes some grand pools. The High Point Resort and The Villas at Seacrest have some of the best pools along Highway 30A.
For other opportunities for outdoor recreation, bikes are all the rage in Seacrest. The Timpoochee Trail goes through Seacrest, connecting it to other communities in South Walton. Consider riding your bike to one of the many shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. Seacrest Sundries is the local grocery store and cafe, which is open for breakfast and lunch. It’s also a great place to grab a coffee. Other popular restaurants include La Cocina, 30A Bagels and Coffee, the Sweet Peddler, Crabby Steve’s, and Pizza By the Sea.
If you would like to experience the nightlife, stop by Beach and Brew on 30A. This is a new business in the community and showcases live music, craft beers, and other ice cold beverages. Many different beers are on tap, including South Walton’s own Grayton Beer Company and Idyll Hounds Brewing Company. Hang out in the tap room, or fill a growler and take it back to your Seacrest home.
While out and about, gaze upon the giant Seacrest beach chair and shop for items for your Seacrest real estate at the shops at Peddler’s Pavilion. At Peddler’s Pavilion, find a variety of kiosks that provide an open-air shopping experience. There are also paddle board, kayak, and bike rentals as well as dining experiences. More shopping and dining opportunities can be found in downtown Seacrest, a hub of the community.
